Jeff Sorby writes fiction from a place that doubles as a concert venue.

His first novel, 500 Years, published in December 2025 but set in the sixteenth century, takes a wry look at those things that motivate us and those things that humanity could well do without.

His second novel, The Unpleasantness, published in March 2026, examines class in England in the 1960s through the sporting efforts of a boy from a northern, working class family who ventures south in search of success.

More novels are in the pipeline, with Tolsta Beach, a mystery story, to be released later in 2026.
